WHEEL MOUNTING SERVICE

Whenever you get a new set of tires or wheels, you’re going to want to have an expert mount and balance them – unless, of course, you’re an expert and you have your own mounting and balancing equipment let P1 Motorcars complete this service for you.

ROAD FORCE BALANCING

The Road Force wheel balancer that P1 Motorcars offers is pretty unique in that it has a big roller. The roller comes up against the tire as the tire is spinning, it senses any imperfections in the tire, converts that into a digital reading, and tells you what the road force variation is. And there are set standards. So, if a tire has excessive road force you can balance it, from now until next year, and it’s not going to roll smoothly on the road because of excessive road force.

WHEEL ALIGNMENT

Wheel alignment is the position of the wheels relative to your car. When properly aligned, the wheels point in the right direction. Without proper alignment, the wheels resist your steering commands, as well as each other. Alignment also affects gas mileage and tire wear. If your tires are pointed in different directions, they fight against each other and can cause tread wear. Computerized alignment equipment is used to measure all alignment angles on today’s cars. These include both adjustable and non-adjustable angles. Non-adjustable angles require repair or replacement of the suspension component at P1 Motorcars.

WHEEL MAINTENANCE & REPAIR

Wheel refinishing is needed when wheels are scraped, gouged, scratched or in need of a new look? Our refinishing process can restore them to look like new. Wheel straightening is needed when the wheels are bent or out-of-round which causes vibrations that can damage your vehicle’s steering, suspension system and tires.
